The word "concentration camp" is a loaded one, and it is used here deliberately. A concentration camp is not defined solely by gas chambers. It is defined by the mass detention of civilians, outside the normal judicial process, in conditions of deliberate deprivation, with inadequate medical care, and no meaningful path to release.
