I’m calling because I’m furious and completely fed up over this shutdown and the lawless cuts this administration continues to engage in without restraint. This is unacceptable!

The senator must end this shutdown now, but only by passing a real budget that extends the ACA tax credits and blocks these illegal budget cuts for billionaire handouts!

We, the voters, will hold every elected official accountable. It’s our constitutional right to do so, and we will use it if those elected to represent us continue to harm civilians or enable this chaos. We built this government, We the People own those seats and we’re done tolerating the abuse of your position. We will exercise our right to vote and elect better representation. If you continue starving children and grandparents you'll find yourself in the unemployment line sooner than next year!

I’m calling because I’m angry and simply fed up that our government is failing and that fascist, authoritarian tactics are being used to strip away protections people rely on. Democrats are supposed to Stand firm against the fascist, authoritarian, anti-democratic actions harming the American people. Yet too many of you are not. That’s outrageous and intolerable.

The senator must oppose any budget deal that doesn’t extend the ACA tax credits and block illegal cuts. “No” is a complete sentence. No promises, No vague compromises.

Republicans are starving children and grandparents so that they do not have to provide us Healthcare. Why don't you start by letting the people know those facts!

Voters have every right to replace officials who fail to protect the people and uphold democracy. We take that responsibility seriously, and we will act on it. Do your job. Stand firm, or do the responsible thing by stepping aside for someone who will.

Because one cannot cooperate with a fascist regime, Senator Schumer *must* use his position as Senate Democratic Leader to ensure any budget or funding deal does two non-negotiable things:

• Extend the ACA tax credits so people don’t lose the healthcare they depend on.

• Block all budget cuts that strip away protections for working families or reward billionaire donors.

The public has seen too many compromises that failed to protect us. This is not the leadership we need. We built this government, and you serve us, not special interests.

We’re done being sidelined. The Republicans have made this mess, and it is your responsibility to put the blame where it belongs! Stand firm for the American people, or step aside for someone who will.
